How we handle information
Lodge Works is committed to protecting the personal data of Lodges, their members and their guests. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the steps we take to keep it safe.
1. Information we collect
We collect information necessary to provide Lodge management services. This includes Lodge names and contact details, member names, email addresses, roles and event booking information. We also collect payment information through our payment processor, Stripe, in line with their privacy practices.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to operate the Lodge Works platform, process event and dining bookings, send communications on behalf of the Lodge, and provide support. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
3. Data sharing
Lodge data is shared only with the authorised officers and members of the Lodge that owns it, and with service providers needed to run the platform (for example, cloud hosting and payment processing). All sharing is governed by contractual protections.
4. Security
We apply industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular monitoring. Lodge officers control who can see and manage data within their own Lodge.
5. Your rights
Members and guests can request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting their Lodge Secretary or Lodge Works support. We will respond to valid requests in accordance with applicable data protection law.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify Lodges of material changes through the platform and update the date at the top of this page.
If you have questions about this policy, please contact us through the contact page.
